چکیده
• Blue and green water fluxes were estimated from four remote sensing methods. Budyko SN methods should be applied with cautions for semiarid catchments. All show similar spatial distribution pattern of blue fluxes. Forested areas Mt. Kilimanjaro Meru consume up to 30 % water. EK method yields the most realistic results. Kikuletwa catchment, Upper Pangani River Basin, Tanzania. This study compared yearly using different methods: Senay’s (SN) (Senay et al., 2016), van Eekelen (EK) (van 2015), (Simons 2020) Soil Water Balance (SWB) model (FAO IHE Delft, 2019). The Land Use Cover (LULC) classes an ensemble seven global sensing-based evapotranspiration products (Ensemble ET) CHIRPS rainfall dataset. Ensemble ET was created RS-based surface energy balance models (GLEAM, CMRS-ET, SSEBop, ALEXI, SEBS, ETMonitor MOD16). Our found that able map results irrigated non-irrigation cultivated areas. SWB gave too high non-irrigated agricultural areas, whereas not a clear difference in blue-water versus On other hand, no more than half identified Three estimate highest (318–582 mm/y) forested while estimates banana coffee (278 mm/y). Overall, we conclude yielded when land use map, could considered after further calibration if higher temporal data resolution (e.g. monthly) is required.

Exploring the relationship between land use and surface water quality using multivariate statistics in arid and semi-arid regions
The relative impacts of different types of land use on the surface water quality are yet to be ascertained and quantified. In this paper, the influence of different types of land use on surface water quality is investigated. Rain events samples from different land use in the central plateau, Iran, were analyzed for major ions. Statistical analyses were employed to examine the statistical relati...
متن کاملLand cover land use mapping and change detection analysis using geographic information system and remote sensing
Land cover/land use categories are relevant components in land management. Understanding how land cover/land use change over time is necessary to assess the consequences of humans and natural stressors on the earth’s environment and resources. The aim of the study was to map and monitor the spatial and temporal change in land cover/land use for the periods of 1977, 1991 and 2016 and to predict ...

Cities are experiencing rapid population growth and consequently extensive urbanization. Land-use/land-cover change is one of the important elements worldwide, which significantly affect the environment. This study aims to describe the emergence of urban heat and cool islands as a result of changes in land-use/land-cover. Land surface temperature over a 32-year period in Isfahan city, Iran was ...
